New Zealand Arts |
Music gigs, dance shows, festivals, rock events, art exhibitions, celebrations of our history and culture… New Zealand has so much for you to see and do before and after your meeting, conference or convention. New Zealand’s art reflects our close association with Pacific nations, the many immigrants that make us a diverse people. Our music and film is known throughout the world. For a small nation of only four million people (and nearly 60 million sheep) we have a whole lot to say and show to the visitors to our land.
While in New Zealand for your conference, check out museums, art galleries, arts and crafts and look out for music events in all the small towns and big cities you pass through. Check the local paper in each region or see the entertainment pages of the national newspaper, The New Zealand Herald, to know what’s going on. Alternatively, visit www.nzlive.com which is an events website created by New Zealand’s Ministry for Culture and Heritage.
